5 of my prints are on display at Jamesport Main Biscuit Co.
During the Summer of 2026, beginning in June, I have 5 photographs on display at Jamesport Main Biscuit Co. NY, a cute restaurant that serves delicious scratch-made buttermilk biscuits. These biscuits will melt in your mouth, best served warmed. Sit in the East Wing where my prints are on display, bringing a sense of a carefree summer.
Artist Statement of my small collection:
A Long Island Summer is a collection of five fine-art photographs celebrating the season through the Island's most beloved corners: a whale's tale breaking the surface off Montauk, a quiet white barn in the East End light, a ripple across the Great South Bay, the vibrant color of Schmitt's Farm Stand in Riverhead, and the steadfast silhouette of Horton Point Lighthouse on the North Fork.
I am a Long Island-based fine-art photographer whose work celebrates the landscapes and quieter moments of Long Island and where I call home. My images are rooted in a simple belief: that the right perspective can spark hope, and that anything is possible when you slow down and look for the peaceful moments.
My introduction to photography began in a high school darkroom, where watching an image slowly emerge on paper ignited a lifelong fascination with light, composition, and storytelling. After 15 years as a passionate hobbyist, I transitioned into my professional career in 2019. My work spans landscapes, nature, tourism, and architecture, and I have collaborated with organizations including Planting Fields Foundation, Visit Curaçao Tourism, and Visit Nassau County. I exhibited at the Reboli Center in Stony Brook and my debut exhibit NYC to MTK was featured through East End Arts in Riverhead.
In October 2025, I served as Artist in Residence at Caumsett State Historic Park Preserve, spending the month documenting the grounds to contribute to its historical record. She is a proud member of the Long Island Film Club.
A Long Island Summer felt like a natural next step: a chance to bring together five images that tell a small story about home. Make sure to visit Jamesport Main Biscuit Co. to see some art and enjoy a scrumptious breakfast. It’s a perfect stop to add during your East End vacation and getaways.
Jamesport Main Biscuit Co. is located at 1601 Main Rd, Jamesport, NY 11947. There is on-street parking and parking behind the restaurant.
